Our first time at the Dunes was a 3-night stay during the summer of 2006.

We were booked into "10 B", a cozy, nicely decorated guest room with one of the most incredible views of the dunes and the ocean we had ever seen. We immediately felt a connection to the Dunes as we walked around the property.  Seeing the quaint, well-maintained cottages and the beautifully landscaped grounds made us feel like we had stepped back into a neighborhood from a simpler place in time. We knew then that we wanted to return the next year and hopefully rent one of the cottages. We had our eye on cottage #18, and were fortunate that it was available then (and again for the next two years !)  We love its rustic charm and screened porch.  It's truly a place were we can relax and unwind, and a beautiful spot to wake up and watch the sunrise. We affectionately call it "our home in Ogunquit". This year marked our 25th wedding anniversary and we wanted to do something meaningful and special. We both decided that a 2 week stay in cottage #18 was the perfect way to celebrate the occasion. It was, without a doubt, the most memorable vacation we've ever had.

We can't wait to return to this hidden jewel.
