My favorites Dunes on the Waterfront Moment was in July of 1977.  I have such fond memories of that July.  I was a newlywed with my husband and we just loved our stay at the cottages at The Dunes.  I remember we went on a fishing boat and saw how they caught lobsters, went to the Ogunquit Playhouse and the Hackmatack Playhouse and just immediately fell in love with the Ogunquit and Wells area of Maine.  The cottage we stayed in was a little doll house.  We loved sitting on the porch at night after dinner.  The people that ran the Dunes were wonderful and the place was immaculate.

My fondest memory though is still with me as my son was born 9 months after our stay at the Dunes in April of 1978 and he is my living memory everyday of Maine!!! 

We hope to get back to the Dunes soon and hopefully this fall.
