Join us for our First Annual Doggy Weekend  at The Dunes.  Join us on the weekend of October 28^th -31^st  as we welcome dogs to celebrate the closing of our 75^th season!  We are opening up our cottages and guestrooms for you, your family and your dog.

First Annual Doggy Weekend Includes:

Dunes Obstacle Course (pet and owner participatiion)

Tracking Seminar with Celeste

Doggy Social (ice cream or local pet friendly treats for the dogs along with coffee and treat for the owners)

Halloween Woof Strut (prizes will be given to top 3 dog costumes) owners are welcome to participate also.

Top place – 1 night stay in 2012 restrictions apply

2^nd  place – 2 75th Anniversary Mugs
3rd, 4th, 5th place - 75th Anniversary T-Shirts

Bisquits to all competing dogs

This is a one-time event that you and your dog surely do not want to miss!  Who knows when The Dunes may allow dogs back again!  Your dog will surely love Ogunquit and The Dunes as much as you do.  You will be able to let your dog enjoy Ogunquit Beach and the Atlantic Ocean anytime during the day (dogs are not allowed in the Tidal River).  The town of Ogunquit  does require dogs leashed at all times on the beach.

We look forward to making this a fun weekend for you and your dog.  Please call 888-285-3863 to make reservations for the weekend or book on-line and notate in the comments section you are bringing a dog.  All the activities will start Saturday and complete on Sunday morning prior to check out.  We do require a 2 night minimum for all guestrooms and a 3 night minimum for cottages. 

First Annual Doggy Weekend Paw Print Rules:

• $50.00 fee will be charged for your pet at arrival; 50% of this fee will be donated to the Ogunquit Dog Park , we will also accept items to be donated to our local Animal Welfare Society in West Kennebunk, Maine ; each item you bring in we will reduce your stay by $5.00 with a maximum of $50.00.
• Dogs must be leashed at all times within town limits of Ogunquit and on grounds of The Dunes.
• Dogs must not be left unattended in cottages or guestrooms; please crate your dog.
• Please pick up after your dogs.  Buckets will be located sporadically around the property.
• There will be no housekeeping in guestrooms if dogs are in the rooms when housekeepers arrive to clean guestroom.
• Must present current Rabies certificate at arrival.
• If there is damage caused to your unit you will be billed $150.00 damage fee.
• Please no baths in the units (you will find water faucets around the pool and gardens if you need to clean off your dog).
• We will be dog friendly this one weekend in 2011 only - please note that we will not accept other pets.
